The beauty of Facebook

You just never know what can turn up when you least expect it!

Eleventh Grade Prom

Yeah, that's me...the bustiest girl in the crowd...Still don't see me? Well I'm the only one in a $4.99 red dress from the Salvation Army. You're probably thinking it was ok deal but what you don't see is the hemline. There is a full body shot of this dress out there floating around the internet that shows that this particular steal was an inch too short. You can see my shoes. Still not a big deal, you say? Well all the other girls with floor length dresses really go to the floor where mine doesn't.

If you don't recognize any of these girls it's because I left the big town of Ider my eleventh grade year and went to Madisonville High, home of the Tornadoes! Boy, was that a whirlwind year......

Ya know, you think you can leave some things behind in your life, hoping other people might forget the girl with the too short dress but thanks to Facebook......

we can never quite forget..........(I'm sure it could be worse ;)

First of all, you are rockin the dress! Secondly...I bet every girl up there knew where those extra few inches went....ahem....and were probably seriously envious Ms busty!

Also, my prom dresses were hideous! UGH! the junior one was this purple & blue montrosity, and my senior year I had the good sense to go with basic black.....however, it was still a mess, considering I "did" my hair a week before and it turned out orange. I looked like a pumpkin.

Old school pictures have a way of keeping us humble. You, however, look beautiful!

I think red is definitely your color! I don't even want to talk about my high school dresses (poofy and poofier). BTW I'm totally jealous of your "bustiness". I don't think I've ever been that perky!

Hey Brooke!

I just figured out that you were the girl I didn't know on my blog. haha. Well, I didn't see where you posted and now I'm all, "dang, never got to discuss my Lost theories with her!" but that is o.k. because now I know who you are and I'm forever making up new theories.

And yes, I did post that sweet Depends picture of you guys on my blog. I had to, you understand, because there is a cosmic law that says...and I quote..."If you are ever in a situation where grown women are wearing Depends undergarments over their clothes, singing karaoke...you must take pictures and show the world." So you see, I couldn't not do it. I really had no choice. You're welcome.

and I really like your dress. I realize you thought it was too short but I'm pretty sure noone was paying attention to your feet!
