Have you ever googled your name???

I was talking to a friend of mine last night and found out that she had googled her name and found someone with the same name who had written a book. Somehow through the blog world they starting communicating and my friend found her to be this facsinating person who travels around the world.
So, I got to thinking. I wonder how many Brooke _____'s there are out there. Would it be someone facsinating???

Here is what I came up with:

  • The new character on Grey's Anatomy who has taken Dr. Burke's place as head of thoracic surgery. Her real life name is Brooke _____. Interesting, but I bet we will never be in touch.

  • Next, I found a Brooke S____ who is some sort of anchor person at a news station in Birmingham, AL. She was also runner-up in "The Bachelor" about 5 years ago.

  • Lastly and most hilarious (to me at least) is Brooke S____ a former spokesperson for..........

    KRISPY KREME DOUGHNUTS!!!!!

I found an article where she had been interviewed and I am not making this up, this was really in the article!!!!

"Doughnuts are a normal part of a healthy, balanced diet," said Brooke _____, a spokeswoman for Krispy Kreme. "We are a taste treat."

Does anyone wanna ride to Chattanooga with me to see if the "hot now" sign is flashing???

I'm definitely emailing this person if I can, I think we will be great friends. I also have no doubt she will be fascinating!!! HAHA!

Pick me up - I'll go. And ... I thought it was police officers, not mail carriers that luv-ed donuts! Cute post - I find nothing near as fun when I google myself - not many Kellans to begin with. See you soon.

LOL, Brooke! A soul sistuh, huh? Mmmm...Krispy Kreme. If y'all weren't so far away, I'd join ya on the road trip, too! ;0)

My husband and I have a very, very ordinary last name...the other one besides Smith. Starts with a J.
Anywho, when we lived in Minnesota years ago, we got odd phone calls at like midnight or 1 am, asking for Jeff or Becky. Well, as it turns out, the other couple with our same names were in a bar band, and we got several offers to play guitar or drums for some 'gig'...come to think of it, we totally missed out on the fun we could have had with those opportunities! Of course, we would have been like Jack Black in Nacho Libre, singing with the Maraichi band...

I'm with the Preacher's Wife...I would have to make that stop by Starbucks as well!

About googling your name...I haven't done that yet, but I will and I will post it later! That sounds like fun. I did one time though, type my name in the address bar...www.angieturner.com (maiden name)....NOT good...it was a porn site...YOUCH!!!!

As for San Antonio...I wish...but I just attended the Women of Faith conference in Houston. I think the one in SA is something a little different from the norm isn't it??

Anyway...thanks for stopping by again!

brooke,
this is hilarious!
my doctor who is layed back and never tells me what to do said the following " Do NOT eat donuts..they are poison!"
maybe i need to update him about what constitutes a "healthy, balanced diet"!!
my sister only eats one donut a year, when we go to a special apple cider mill. i decided to do the same...we'll see how long that lasts!!!

Aww, thanks, Brooke...and I totally agree...the A&E version is much better than the newer one! (That's what I'd asked the man of the house to bring home for me, but the one copy they have was checked out. ;o( Nothing like a little Colin Firth to cheer a sick girl up. ;0)

Hi Mailgirl, my first time here. I wanted you to know that I looked at your blog last night right before going to bed. I thought I logged off but I guess I was on your site all night. Sorry, I am not a mailgirl-stalker.

Keep up the great site!

Warmly, Joanne

I've googled my name - apparently there is a really famous organist with my name, and also a BBC personality. Cool...

She's right - donuts absolutely are part of a normal, healthy, balanced diet. The other parts are pizza, cookies, and froo froo rum drinks. ;)

Okay googled my name and guess what popped up?? The real me...no gun in that. No one famous existed with the same name that I found. And the only reason the real me popped up was the Dean's List at the big North East! Tonya
